Week of preparation

This is the final week of preparation before the "great feast", Pesach. Have you nearly finished cleaning your houses? Have you given a thought yet to preparing your hearts for the seder at the end of the week? You can see the daily Parasha and Bible reading plan for this week and here is the drash for Tzav.

Ohev Yisrael have a community Passover Freedem 5K today and Shomair Yisrael have Spring Cleaning at the synagogue this afternoon. Tikvat Yisrael have Torah Study on Tuesday evening and El Shaddai have Women's Bible Study on Thursday morning, with Bible Study at Beit Simcha in the evening. On Friday Tikvat Yisrael have Bedikat Chametz and El Shaddai have Toldot Erev Shabbat Dinner. Shomair Yisrael have guest speaker Ben and Lorena Juster at the Shabbat service and in the evening many of our congregations are having community seders!

The Bible verse for this week is ...

"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect." (Romans 12:2, NASB)

As we ready our houses for Pesach, let us also ready our hearts. This week, let us renew our minds before G-d so that we too may be transformed to His will!
