Rulings

The Torah reading begins this week with rulings about how the people of Israel are to live. Many of us don't like rules and regulations, but they are boundaries for a healthy society and to safeguard us from evil! You can see the daily Parasha and Bible reading plan for this week and here is the drash for Mishpatim.

This Tuesday Tikvat Israel have a Torah Study on the letter of Paul and on Tuesday Adat Chaim have a Purim-themed Torah study, while on Thursday Beit Simcha has Rabbi Glenn's Bible Study. On Shabbat Or Chaim have special guest speaker Joel Richardson! El Shaddai have a special Dorcas ministry on Shabbat afternoon and then a Toldot homegroup in the evening.

The Bible verse for this week is ...

"Not what enters into the mouth defiles the man, but what proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man." (Matthew 1:15, NASB)

This is just as true today as when Yeshua said it 2,000 years ago. This week, let us think about what proceeds out of our mouth and ask the L-rd to keep us from defilement!
