It's a busy week, turning from fasting and Yom Kippur tonight and tomorrow to feasting and rejoicing in the sukkah at Shabbat! Have you got your siddur to hand and your lulav and etrog ordered? You can see the daily Parasha and Bible reading plan for this week and here is the drash for Sukkot. Please pray for the network this week ... We are gathering in person and across the Internet this evening for Kol Nidre and various Yom Kippur services this evening. There are various congregational events during the week for building and decorating the communal sukkah and then - on Erev Shabbat Sukkot celebrations begin! Please pray for this to be a special and joyous time for our entire people. The Bible verse for this week is ... "Saying, Amen, blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen." (Revelation 7:11, NASB) This week, as we comemorate Yom Kippur, let's remember to praise and worship our King who sits on the throne!
