Yom Teruah / Rosh HaShanah starts this Friday evening. It's time to practice the shofar and get the honey! You can see the daily Parasha and Bible reading plan for this week and here is the drash for Yom Teruah. Please pray for the network this week ... There is quite a lot going on this week. On Sunday Brit Hadasha have a work day to clean the congregational building, Beth Am Messiah have Sukkah Building 101 and Beit Hallel have a Sisterhood meeting. After Chavurah at Shoresh David, Torah Study at Tikvat Israel and Adat Chaim have Young Adult Discipleship, there are lots of Rosh Hashanah services over Shabbat! The Bible verse for this week is ... "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. " (Matthew 28:1920, NASB) This are two of the most exciting verses in the Bible! They contain a command, a vision and a promise! This week, why not ask the L-rd what part He wants you to play in making disciples?
