Light and Glory

We are now less than three weeks away from Rosh HaShanah, can you hear the shofar yet? You can see the daily Parasha and Bible reading plan for this week and here is the drash for Ki Tavo.

Two of the congregations have special events this Shabbat: Shoresh David have Tikkun America Ambassador Tzofiya Rogers ministering during the morning service and Tikvat Yisrael are planning a membership meeting. Please pray for openess, movement of the Spirit and fellowship!

The Bible verse for this week is ...

"No more will the sun be your light by day, nor will moonlight shine on you; instead ADONAI will be your light forever and your God your glory. " (Isaiah 60:19, NASB)

This may be a prophecy yet fully to be fulfilled in the Olam Haba, the World to Come, but can you say that the L-rd is your light? This week, let's consider where the light in our lives is coming from and turn to the L-rd's glory!
