Summer time

It's the summer and we are busy enjoying the sun, having barbeques with friends and family, participating in the congregation events - but let's not get so busy we forget to spend time with the L-rd! You can see the daily Parasha and Bible reading plan for this week and here is the drash for Re'eh.

Today the Living Free Women's Conference has its last session and the Beit Halel Sisterhood have their monthly gathering. El Shaddai have Camp Revive for the Middle and High Schoolers during the week, as well as a special Women's Luncheon and Teaching on Shabbat and a Young Adults meeting. Also on Shabbat, Or Chaim have Paul Wilbur worshiping and ministering with them and Shomair Yisrael have special guest Don Finto.

The Bible verse for this week is ...

"Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures" (Luke 24:45, NASB)

Sometimes the Scriptures can baffle us - are you going through a time like that? This week, let's ask the L-rd to open our minds to understand what He is saying!
