Hope and trust

Spring has definitely arrived, with trees budding, flowers coming out and the birds making nests. There is a refreshed feeling in the air after the rain and the birdsong is full of hope! You can see the daily Parasha and Bible reading plan for this week and here is the drash for Tazria/M'tzorah.

Please pray for the network this week

We have left our Pesach celebrations behind and normal congregational events restart, albeit digitally - Torah studies, house groups, ladies Bible studies. Please pray that as we connect to discuss, there will be a real sense of G-d's presence and unity in our midst, and people will be encouraged.

The Bible verse for this week is ...

"For this is contained in Scripture: 'Behold I lay in Zion a choice stone, a precious corner stone, And he who believes in Him shall not be disappointed.'" (1 Peter 2:6, NASB)

We are living through a time right now when most of us are facing disappointments and frustrations of some kind. Yet this verse says that if we trust in Messiah we will never be disappointed - what a promise! Have you found that be true? This week, let's consider if we are putting our trust in other things, or in G-d.
