The week before Pesach

It's only a week and a half until Pesach - have you nearly finished cleaning your home and started preparing your heart for the re-telling of the Redemption story? You can see the daily Parasha and Bible reading plan for this week and here is the drash for Tzav.

The Bible verse for this week is ...

"He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers; otherwise I will come and strike the land with complete destruction. Look, I will send to you Eliyahu the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible Day of ADONAI. (Malachi 3:24, CJB)

We read this Haftarah portion on Shabbat HaGadol - a prophetic foretelling of what G-d did when Yeshua came to earth and what He will do in the future. This week, may we remember that G-d acted in the past, continues to be actively involved with people today and will act in the future!
