This is the one question we want every Jewish person to ask. Acts 4:7b "By what power or in what name did you do this?" Read the context. The leaders of the priesthood were asking Peter and John. What did Peter and John do? They told a crippled beggar to look at them. And when he did, he received his healing. Acts 3:6-8 "But Peter said, 'Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give to you - in the name of Yeshua ha-Mashiach ha-Natzrati, get up and walk!' Then grabbing him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately the man's feet and ankles were made strong. Jumping up, he stood and began walking; and he went with them into the Temple, walking and leaping and praising God!" The Scripture promises "signs and wonders." John 14:12-14 "Amen, amen I tell you, he who puts his trust in Me, the works that I do he will do; and greater than these he will do, because I am going to the Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it." It also prophecies that Jewish people require a sign. 1 Corinthians 1:22a "For Jewish people ask for signs ..." So, this is a match made in heaven. Please pray that God will show Himself strong to Jewish people first. Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the Good News, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who trusts - to the Jew first and also to the Greek."
