Question of the Day: Today we finish Ezra. What is the main issue in these last 2 chapters of Ezra? Answer: Ezra is told that priests, levites and Israelites in Judah had taken foreign wives for themselves and their sons (and given their daughters). Ezra was the priest in charge of rebuilding the Temple. Ezra was in charge of a second chance for Judah to live according to God principles and he had been told there was major sin in the camp. How does this apply to us today? Where have we allowed a violation of God's righteous principles to separate us from perfect love in Messiah Yeshua? Each of us has a destiny in Messiah Yeshua, but here and now and in the great bye and bye. I know very few people that even know their destiny, much less achieve it with a high level of success (myself included). Let's press in to hear God speak out our destiny. Then, once we have heard, let nothing stand in our way of pleasing God with zeal from on high. Shalom, R. Michael.
