To remain practicing Jews
|
Thoughts about the feasts are shared by David Rudolph and Elliot Klayman ... Messianic synagogues observe all of the major Jewish festivals and distinguish themselves from other Jewish congregations by interpreting festival tradition in light of Yeshua the Messiah. Rather than creating a new festival tradition, Messianic Jewish congregations enter into conversation with the present tradition and adapt it as needed to reflect their distinct beliefs. In your congregation, are the festival observances distinguishable by belief in Yeshua? Do you agree with the assumption that they should be? How does your synagogue see itself in the conversation of adapting traditions? Is this something of which you see yourself as part?
