Certainty

Certainty - also known as assurance - this is that knowledge deep inside, based - of course - on the Scriptures, that we belong to Messiah and are in relationship with our Father G-d!

The writer to the Hebrew tells us that, "faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). As people who "walk by faith, not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:5), we need to stand firm against those sneaky little thoughts that the enemy plants in our minds: "if you can't see it, you can't count it."

We know that we can always count on G-d: if He has said it, He means it and will fulfill it. It may sometimes take a while for us to see the answers to our prayers and witness, as Habakkuk tells us: "though it tarries, wait for it; for it will certainly come, it will not delay" (Habakkuk 2:3).

If you are holding on, waiting for promise G-d has given you, hold on fast because that prayer has been heard and G-d's response is absolutely certain. Of course, that doesn't mean that you will always get the answer you want, but you will always get an answer. That's a certainty!
