Judgement

judgement - there are two words commonly used for judgement in the Scriptures: diyn and mishpat. Diyn is usually used for judgement for or against someone, while mishpat means either a piece of case-law, a judgement, or justice.

At this time in the year, we seek G-d to ask for diyn, for judgement in our favour. G-d can only do this in Yeshua - who provided the perfect sacrifice so that we might be considered righteous by faith. In amongst all the High Holy Day liturgy and prayers, don't lose sight of Yeshua - He is the key to judgement, both ours and of the nations who will be judged at the last days.
