Being Merciful to Our Neighbor

Did you know that are commanded to be merciful to our neighbor? There are actually quite a few verses that address this.

Mercy and compassion are similar, and therefore some translations opt for using the one and some translations the other. Mercy is the affirmative act of extending our self to alleviate or help a person out of difficulty (deserved or undeserved) when it is within our ability to do so, and especially when it is within our power to punish or harm as an alternative.

Follow this through and see how youc an be merciful to others.
