A Disciple's Prayer

A DISCIPLE'S PRAYER FOR DISCIPLESHIP

"Our father in heaven, holy be Your Name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, in earth as it is in heaven ..."

"... Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven" is not just a prayer for the Second Coming where Yeshua will establish His kingdom, but this prayer has relevance to the "now" period of time.

Because the kingdom has already come (although in an already-not-yet form), the prayer for "Your kingdom come" is a prayer that we might be instruments in extending that kingdom; that God's will might be done on the earth beginning in my life; beginning in the circle of my relationships, and that I extend the kingdom of God to the rest of the people who I might influence to attach themselves to Yeshua and, therefore, establish the will of God on earth.
