High Holy Days at Brit Hadasha

Come Experience the High Holy Days with us at B'rit Hadasha!

Join us for worship and experience the Feasts and Festivals that Yeshua honored before His Heavenly Father. Please continue reading to learn more about how and when we're observing Rosh HaShanah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot.

Rosh HaShanah

"Speak to Bnei-Yisrael, saying: In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you are to have a Shabbat rest, a memorial of blowing (shofarot), a holy convocation." (Leviticus 23:24, TLV)

Come celebrate with us as we bring in the spiritual New Year on the Jewish calendar! We experience live Jewish worship, Israeli Dance, the blasting of the Shofar, and the reading of G‑d's Word in both Hebrew and English.

Erev Rosh HaShanah: October 2nd, starting at 7pm (light fellowship meal to follow) - Rosh HaShanah & Tashlich: October 3rd, starting at 4pm.

Yom Kippur

"However, the tenth day of this seventh month is Yom Kippur, a holy convocation to you, so you are to afflict yourselves. You are to bring an offering made by fire to ADONAI. You are not to do any kind of work on that set day, for it is Yom Kippur, to make atonement for you before ADONAI your G‑d." (Leviticus 23:27-28, TLV)

Come join us for a time of repentance, asking G‑d to reveal any hidden sin, seeking His face, breaking ungodly vows, and seeking a new start with G‑d as we enter into a new year.

Erev Yom Kippur: October 11th, starting at 7pm - Yom Kippur: October 12th, starting at 4pm (community break-fast to follow together with the Table of the L‑rd (Eucharist) and share a fellowship meal)

"Speak to Bnei-Yisrael, and say, On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the Feast of Sukkot, for seven days to ADONAI." (Leviticus 23:34, TLV)

On the evening of October 16th, we will be celebrating the Feast of Sukkot (Tabernacles), with a light dessert fellowship to follow th service.

Family Fun Day is a fun-filled, family celebration with activities indoors and outdoors on October 22nd (after service)! Bring your bug spray and be prepared to have a good time outside with dessert and refreshments as we all take part and worship around the Sukkah this year.

When we conclude the Feast of Sukkot, we will celebrate Shimini Atzerit by rolling back the Torah Scroll, starting a new year of reading G‑d's Torah week-by-week, rejoicing in His Word to us! Come join us for a time of worship on October 24th at 4pm as we dedicate this new year to reading and studying HaShem's Word.
