Building Fund at Shomair

New Bathrooms

It is our desire to build two (accessible) bathrooms on the upper level of our Shomair building (using the 100 sq. ft. area where we have been storing books). There is no need to explain why this is important to us. Have you ever waited in line to use the facilities downstairs (and those bathrooms are not accessible)?

We want to start and to complete this project during the month of January.

I'm asking you to pray about making an offering (note-an offering is not part of the tithe) to the congregation that will help us with the cost of construction.

The total cost of construction is budgeted at 1,000. We are praying that our Shomair friends and family will make offerings to the congregation covering ,000 of the cost. The other ,000, we will take from our congregational savings account.

Please participate in one of our special offerings over the next few Shabbats, or go to our website and select "building fund". All building fund donations over the next 3 weeks will be applied to this special project.

New Sign

Please take special note of our new sign in front of our building. It is much improved. We expect to add some landscaping to help make it even more attractive.
