Today we want to share with you three sermons all preached on or just before the feast of Rosh Hashanah and preparing for it, so you can catch up and listen if you missed them at the time. Preparing for Rosh Hashanah Brant preached this sermon at Brit Hadasha in Memphis, TN, from Genesis 22:1-19. He tells us a little about it: As we prepare to celebrate Rosh HaShana (the Jewish New Year), Brant shares on faith in action and discusses how Jewish tradition relates that the Akedah, binding of Isaac, occurred on this day in Jewish history. The Lord also prepares us to be people of action, like Abraham, Isaac, and Yeshua. You can listen to and download this sermon here. A Certain Sound This sermon was preached by guest speaker Matthew Rudolph at El Shaddai in Frederik, MD, on the Shabbat before Rosh Hashana. It is just over an hour long and was taken from the Bible passage 1 Corinthians 14:1-40. To listen to and download this sermon, click here. Yom Teruah (Feast of Trumpets) This holiday sermon was preached on Yom Teruah Eve at El Shaddai in Frederick, MD. Jason Trevett, who shared the message, is the Pastor of Youth and Worship and the sermon is a convenient 25 minutes long. Just click here to listen to the sermon or download it.
