The Prophetic Meaning of the Feasts
|
I have come to a greater appreciation of the eschatalogical meaning of the biblical feasts of Israel. All of the feasts have great future prophetic references awaiting fulfillment. Hence each feast has historic reference to God's salvation in ancient Israel, to the meaning of fulfillment in Yesha, who brings out the deepest meaning of the feast, to agricultural significance in celebrating God as the provider, and reference to the last days and the millennial Age to Come ... It is my firm belief that that Messianic Judaism worship and celebration should reflect all of the multifaceted meanings of the feasts, but especially the meaning of fulfillment in Yeshua and the great work of God yet to come as predicted in these feasts. None of the feasts have been fulfilled in the sense of their meaning being already fully compleed in history. There is more to come, even continuing unto the New Heavens and the New Earth.
