Man in God's Image

In the second chapter, I point out that "the creation is the apex of God's creative work."

The garden is paradise. This is important for understanding God's original intent. Nature is not to be left alone as self-sufficient. Rather, it is to be cultivated.

I then consider how Adam - read 'mankind' - is to accomplish this task.

The understanding of the original creation ideal for male and female in the human race is of paramount importance because it provides the foundation for understanding the effects of the fall and the meaning of the restoration of the creation
