Yom Kippur

Perhaps the most solemn day of the Jewish year, Yom Kippur is the sixth section of our book "Conveying a Heritage". Yom Kippur, or as it should properly be in Hebrew, Yom Kippurim, the Day of Atonements is the day on which we commemorate the High Priest atoning for the sins of Israel in the Tabernacle and the Temple.

In addition, this Holy Day is a key for understanding the meaning of Yeshua's death in our place and his role as our permanent High Priest.

We look at the way the family can together remember the day, starting wih a meal just before sundown, the fast, services, time for personal prayer and the beakfast after sundown at the end of the day.

You can purchase the book here.
