Conveying a Heritage

Patty and I have just published a new book called, "Conveying a Heritage". The book has the subtitle, "A Messianic Jewish Guide to Home Practice". We wrote it to help you understand how you can pass the heritage of Messianic Jewish life on to your children.

The heritage faith has historically been conveted by two insitutions: the family and the congregation. Today the amazing weakness of family life can be clearly seen and this troubles our hearts. Only the family can raise children with an adequate appreciation of faith and heritage - this cannot be met entirely by the congregation. This is why we write: to encourage families to take upon themselves this important task and to succeed in what they do.

Our guide cannot be either exhaustive or definitive, but offers a vision that each family can supplement with their own practice and creativity.

In the following days, we'll present some extracts from the book, so that you may see, be encouraged and see whether you think a copy would help you.
