No Burnout!

Why do so many in ministry burn out? They are so full of vim and vigor when they begin, but then they grow tired and they quit, because it wasn't what they thought it would be.

So let us not grow weary of doing what is good; for if we don't give up, we will in due time reap the harvest. Galatians 6:9, CJB

I don't think anything is ever what we think it's gonna be, but we need to trust what God has called us to. Ministry should be seen as something we get to do, not something we have to do. When we see it as something we have to do, the focus turns away from Yeshua, and onto our feelings, thus we become weary. When we see it as something we get to do, our focus stays on Yeshua, and we grow stronger in our walk with him. There will be trials, but if we stay the course, his blessings will pour out.

He invigorates the exhausted, He gives strength to the powerless. Young men may grow tired and weary, even the fittest may stumble and fall; but those who hope in Adonai will renew their strength, they will soar aloft as with eagles' wings; when they are running, they won't grow weary, when they are walking, they won't get tired. Isaiah 40:29-31

Let's do the work God has laid out for us with joy and thanksgiving.

Be a Blessing and Be Blessed!
