The Great Community Seder Challenge

Shalom Mishpocha! Pesach (Passover) is just around the corner. We are so excited to celebrate Yeshua, our Passover Lamb, as a family. This year the armory is not available for rent for large group gatherings. We are taking this opportunity to get creative with the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) and present to our community the Great Community Seder Challenge.

We encourage every household who calls El Shaddai Congregation their community to hold a seder in your home this year and invite someone to share it with you!

How does it work? We are glad you asked! ESC will be providing Seder home kits for you to lead a seder in your home for free. We ask that you fill out the form below, so we know how many supplies need to be in your home kit. The seder kits will be available for front porch pickup on March 27th, 2021, directly following our Shabbat services. If you have groups larger than ten individuals or cannot pick up your box in person, please call the ESC office, and we will accommodate as many requests as possible. The cutoff for signing up will be March 20th at 11:59pm.

Suppose you have never lead a seder meal before, that’s ok! Saturday, March 27th, 2021, at 6:30pm (EST), we will be premiering a walk-through of the seder meal on YouTube lead by Roeh Todd. We want this to be as accessible and engaging for each family as possible.

Included in your seder home kit:

  • Matzah
  • Grape Juice
  • Seder Plate
  • Haggadahs ("The Telling" Seder Guide)
  • Maror (Bitter Herbs)
  • Charoset (Apples and Honey)
  • Kids Activities

What you are responsible for providing for your home:

  • Parsley
  • Shankbone
  • Boiled Egg
  • Lettuce
  • Salt Water
  • Plates and Cups
  • Dinner!

We are excited for this opportunity to walk out love in action as a community. We encourage everyone to engage together in this feast of the Lord accursed multiple county and state lines. Let us be praying as a community for many to come to know Yeshua in this season. Are you ready to take the Great Community Seder Challenge? To get started click here!
