For you will be filled

This week's Torah portion opens with G-d commissioning Moshe with what he is to say to people of Israel in Egypt when Pharaoh is refusing to let them go, as the great story of the Exodus is getting under way. You can see the daily Parasha and Bible reading plan for this week and here is the drash for Va'era.

Please pray for the network this week ...

Beit Hallel have their monthly Men's and Sisterhood meetings this afternoon, bith at 1pm. Tikvat Tisrael have Torah Study on Tuesday evening, Adat chaim have a Congregational Day of Prayer and Fasting on Wednesday finishing with a prayer meeting in the evening and on Thursday Beit Simcha have Rabbi Glenn's Bible Study. On Shabbat Tikvat Israel have guest speaker Rabbi Ben Volman joining them for the morning service!

The Bible verse for this week is ...

"How blessed are you who are hungry! for you will be filled. How blessed are you who are crying now! for you will laugh." (Luke 6:21, CJB)

Are you in this place of hunger or crying? Remember that there is hope! This week, let us ask the L-rd to fill us and give us laughter.
