Blessing others

The Torah portion this week starts off with speaking about the priests are to keep themselves separate and holy. You can see the daily Parasha and Bible reading plan for this week and here is the drash for Emor.

Please pray for the network this week

With our own particular stresses and worries - not to mention staying at home - it can be easy to become focussed on ourselves and not think so much about other people. How can you connect with others in your congregation? What about your neighbours and those in your community? Let's pray that this week can get creative about ways that we can support those outside our household and share G-d's peace.

The Bible verse for this week is ...

"How blessed you will be that they have nothing with which to repay you! For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous." (Luke 14:14, CJB)

Let us think of ways that we can help other people without looking for repayment for them - maybe without them even knowing! Who needs your help this week? How can you bless them?
