Promise of rebuilding

As we continue to count the days of the Omer, we continue to read through the laws regarding Holiness in our every day lives and relationships. You can see the daily Parasha and Bible reading plan for this week and here is the drash for Acharei Mot/Kedoshim.

Please pray for the network this week

It can be easy to get downhearted at the moment, with our usual routines, work and social lives being disrupted and worry about the health of relatives and friends. Please pray for peace and calm to abound in our congregations and families, for us all to take hold of the promise of G-d's presenc in our lives and to walk out the victory He has given us in our lives.

The Bible verse for this week is ...

"When that day comes, I will raise up the fallen sukkah of David. I will close up its gaps, raise up its ruins and rebuild it as it used to be ..." (Amos 9:11, CJB)

G-d has just foretold destruction to His people, but has promised that He will not wipe them out complete - He will cause them to prosper again. This week, maybe we should consider G-d's promises of blessings (sometimes intangible) to those who seek Him. Has G-d given you any specific promises to hold on to right now?
