First week of March

Today is the 1st of March and the first full week of the month. Purim is next week and Pesach is only six weeks away, so spring is here ... or very soon will be! You can see the daily Parasha and Bible reading plan for this week and here is the drash for Tetzaveh.

Please pray for these events this week

Today Ahavat Yeshua is hosting a Men's Breakfast from 9am this morning, with the theme "My Brother's Keeper". The ladies from Or Chaim are attending the Colorado Messianic Women's Fellowship quarterly gathering Holly St. Centennial this afternoon; our own Millie Lieberman will be sharing a wonderful and uplifting message!

Beth Am Messiah are having their monthly congregation prayer meeting on Tuesday evening, the younger adults of Adat Chaim are serving at CrossRoads Christian Fellowship on Wednesday afternoon and Tikvat Israel have their fortnightly Torah Study at 7pm. On Thursday afternoon Yeshua HaMashiach have Men's and Women's (separate) luncheons for fellowship and El Shaddai have a monthly Fireteam meeting in the evening for all the young men of the congregation.

On Erev Shabbat Elim are taking part in Paul Wilbur's First Friday event and distrubiting information about the congregation at the resources table. On Shabbat El Shaddai, Adat Chaim, Shoresh David and Brit Hadasha all have their congregational Purim celebrations - down with Haman and up with Mordechai and Esther!

The Bible verse for this week is ...

"I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13, NASB) In whatever challenges you find yourself this week, remember that there are two parts to this verse: "I can do all things is empowering", but we mustn't forget that it's through "Him who strengthens me". So make sure you are tapping into G-d's strength and not trying to do it all on your own!
