How we view the Talmud

Carl Kinbar ends his article by reflecting on the two ends of the spectrum of engaging with traditional Jewish practices:

The tension between these positions is apparent, focussing on whether, and in what way, Jewish tradition is normative for Messianic Jews. It remains to be seen whether this tension will be resolved in some way or if it will result in two different versions of Messainic Judaism. (Chapter 5, page 80
