Bridges

David Rudolph presents two ideas:

Messianic Judiasm is the bridge between the Jewish pople and the church, and as such it helps the church to understand better its origin and identity. (Introduction, page 14)

Do you agree with that? Do you feel (if you are MJ) that you are a bridge and do you feel (if you Gentile) that you need a bridge?

A secong reason why the Gentile Christian world should concern itself with Messianic Judaism is ecclesiological - God designed the church to be a Jew-Gentile body. (Introduction, page 14)

Are we comfortable with this idea? Are Jews meant be part of the church or is this too radical?
