Who is our savior?

Question of the Day: Satan comes before God and asks what today is the question of the day ... Job 1:9b "Does Job fear God for nothing?"

Answer: Now put your name in the place of Job's name. Say it out loud, "Do I, (say your first and last name) fear God for nothing?"

Satan is not prophetic. He told God if Job's blessings were removed, he would curse God to His face. So Job learns of calamity after calamity. Now read Job's response to all of this devastating news is in the last 3 verses of Chapter 1.

Job 1:20-22 "Then Job got up, tore his robe, shaved his head, fell to the ground and worshiped. Then he said: 'Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will return there. Adonai gave and Adonai has taken away; blessed be the Name of Adonai.' Through all this, Job did not sin nor did he cast reproach on God."

Did you think you would be able to live this life without calamity? The Bible says this ... 1 Peter 4:12 "Loved ones, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal taking place among you to test you - as though something strange were happening to you."

Let's live as more than conquerors.

Romans 8:35-39 "Who shall separate us from the love of Messiah? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, "For Your sake we are being put to death all day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter." But in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Messiah Yeshua our Lord."

May we all own it. By Yeshua's name. Amen.
