Sent out - Part One

Why are we here? What is our purpose? What does it mean to be sent out? These are just a few of the questions we as believers may ask ourselves at one time or another. The vision must be clear if we are to be different from the world around us.

Yeshua first sent out the twelve and later in Luke 10 we read of when He sent out seventy others. The first part of verse 2 Yeshua says, "The harvest is great but the

laborers are few". If we look around at our communities, cities, work places and country we see a great need, greater than all the workers in the field. We can react

two ways to this lack of workers either in the positive or negative. The negative reaction would be that this is too big of a task to accomplish and the positive would be, wow look at the possibility or potential for the harvesting of souls into the Kingdom of God.

I see five points in Luke 10:1-12 which apply to us as believers in the harvest field of our walk with the Lord and how we live and look at ourselves and our everyday lives.

Come back tomorrow to look through this passage with me!
