A Heart Like God's

Matthew 5 gives the account of when Yeshua spoke to the 5,000 people on the Mount of Beatitudes. He was proclaiming how the poor in spirit, those who mourn, the meek and those who hunger and thirst for righteousness are blessed.

He refers to the motivation of the heart of those who believe, how not to look to the things of this earth but to the heavenly things. Yeshua is an example to us of this heart attitude.

He's not just a man He was and is God who walked among us and yet looked at everyone from eye level, encouraging those who felt as if they did not deserve to be with or walk with God.

Provoking those who proclaim to know God, He looks to the inside not the outside appearance of a person. It doesn't matter if you're poor or rich, young or old, man or woman, tall or short or even the color of your skin or your nationality. What matters is that we walk on this earth looking at everyone at the same eye level as Yeshua did. That we look into each others eyes and see His love and compassion for all mankind.

In John 14:26-27, we read that the Holy Spirit would be sent to us by the Father in Yeshua's name to teach and remind us of those things which Yeshua taught His disciples. He gave His Peace to us so we might dwell in it and keep it in this world, walking in humility and reflecting Him in our daily life.
