Occupying the Land of Israel

The people of Israel were given the Promise Land - simple, isn't it?

The Scriptures quoted above clearly show that the Land of Israel was given to the Children of Israel (the Jewish people) as a main component of God's covenant with Abraham.

When we consider the ramifications for today, we can be puzzled. Do all Jews have an obligation to live in the Land of Israel? Do we have to support everything the government of Israel says and does? I explore these questions in the Mitzvah.
