Psalm 127 - God has given us each other

Psalm 127:3-4 "Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth. NKJV

Let's unpack this with our own amplified version. Hine, here is Nachalat the inheritance (or possession) of the Lord; (this is where it gets really interesting) children (easily identified as the possession of the Lord) are fruitful wages (reward) of the innermost parts (Beten is stomach, but is translated here as womb).

Like Chitzim, arrows in (the) hand of a mighty young man (Gever), so (are) the children of (our) youth.

We tend to think of children in terms of physical off-spring, but in the Kingdom of God, there are children of the 4th (spiritual) dimension too. God has called us into relationships that are the fruitful wages of the innermost parts.

Covenant relationships! Is there anything more covenantal than parents and children? Lifelong covenant relationships. Let's enjoy our fellowship which is connected to the fulfillment of God's purpose for our lives.
