Dealing Harshly When Lending Money or Collecting Debts

This is an interesting Mitzvah which should make us stop and think. Are we trangsressing any of this? Are we being careful to keep not just to the letter of the law, but the spirit of it as well?

It is fairly easy to apply this mitzvah when a loan is made by and individual to an individual. However, in this day and age, many loans are not personal but rather corporate, and in such case the mitzvah is difficult to apply.

For this mitzvah, the explanation I give, and that the classical commentators give, is actually longer than the referenced Scriptures.
