Conversion & Receiving Jewish Proselytes & Converts

The idea of conversion can be a controversial one and also a sensitive issue if it conjures up an association with persecutions of the Jewish people; but it is an issue at the heart of how we relate to others.

It was inevitable that the matter of "conversion" would make its way into Messianic Judaism. It has always been an issue among us because of desire for unity in mixed marriages, because there are Gentiles within our congregations who perceive that they are called to become Jewish for various reasons ...

Incorporating the halachic paper Tikkun uses, I have laid out my thoughts on where the boundaries lie.
