Communities

I'd like to invite you to listen to a sermon I recently gave at Beit Simcha.

The kingdom of heaven expands - on earth, the energy of this expansion is not in isolation, but when people connect in communities, and when communities connect with other communities.

I start with what Yeshua said about community and what community looked like for the first disciples ...

Awesome! Now what was happening was more than our oneg. First, 120 disciples had come together as a community in fervent prayer, for the Lord to fulfill His promise to pour out the Ruach on them. As soon as that happened, 3000 Jews from all over the world heard the Good News and joined them! Awesome!

... before going on to look at community in our present day - our network at Tikkun, what we are doing locally and what a great opportunity we all hve to partner with God to expand His Kingdom!
