Beit Simcha News #2

Marty Geotz Concert!

Marty Geotz will be worshipping with us at Kingdom Life on Saturday, December 5th at 7:30pm. Kingdom Life is located at 4333 Lime Kiln Rd. in Orefield.

Admission is free! RSVP to reserve seating up front on our website. Invite other! There will be a love offering to benefit Beit Simcha's building project.

Marty Geotz has been called a modern day psalmist. With melodic and fresh arrangements, Marty Geotz has the ability to lead you into a place of true intimacy with God. We are fortunate that he will be visiting us during the holiday season, since he has a fresh take on Hanukkah and Christmas, and especially how Yeshua can shine forth through it all.

O Hanukkah O Chanukah

We will be celebrating Hanukkah at Beit Simcha on Shabbat, at 10am, December 12th.

Chanukah this year begins on the evening of Sunday December 6th with the lighting of the first candle and ends on the evening of Monday December 14th.

Chanukka is an eight day festival, also known as the feast of Dedication, commemorating the victory of the Maccabees over the Hellenizing Syrians who tried to prohibit the worship of the one true God, and remembering the rededication of the temple after it had been defiled by said Syrians.

If you don't know what Hannuka is, who the Maccabees were, or why I keep on spelling this holiday in different ways, come and learn! Even if you do know the answers to all these questions, you will have a splendid time with special songs, teaching, skits, latkes and dreidls!
