Brit Hadasha Shabbat Meal

"So Bnei-Yisrael is to keep the Shabbat, to observe the Shabbat throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between Me and Bnei-Yisrael forever, for in six days Adonai made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day He ceased from work and rested." (Exodus 31:16-17, TLV)

This coming Friday evening (Oct. 23), Brit Hadasha will be holding a community Erev Shabbat meal in the Fellowship Hall, joining with Jewish communities across the world to celebrate Shabbat. This is the third annual worldwide Shabbat Project, which aims to encourage Jews to take up the covenantal calling and celebrate Shabbat together.

We will be gathering at 5:30pm and lighting the Shabbat candles at 6pm. If you are able to come, bring a food dish to share with others (please, remember, no treif).

Following the Shabbat meal, we will have a time of worship and intercession for the nation of Israel and Jerusalem. For the past couple of months, Israel has endured a growing number of terrorist attacks. We remember that G-d is calling us as a Messianic Jewish community to intercede for the nation of Israel, to pray for her peace and for G-d to send revival to His people. Israel will not stand alone in this season!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem- "May those who love you be at peace! May there be shalom within your walls - quietness within your palaces." (Psalm 122:6-7, TLV)

If you have any questions, please call the office on 901-685-9267 or email We look forward to seeing you.
