Beit Simcha News

Good news! A young Jewish man has accepted Yeshua and plans to be immersed at Beit Simcha on Shabbat, August 22nd! Also a whole family plan to be immersed together. Praise Yeshua!

More good news: In the last couple of weeks, meetings with the County and the Township have gone well, with both authorities generally accepting our storm water management and land development plans. So it's full speed ahead with finishing our architectural plans, getting bids from contractors, finalizing the transfer of the property at 1111 Grange Road to the congregation, seeking tax exemptions, etc.!

Plans for our move to Trexlertown Grange (TG) - right across Grange Road from our property - are also firming up apace! Our second congregational visit on August 1 went well - folks at TG agreed to improve a bathroom for handicap access while our team makes plans to prove access with another railing and chairlifts, sound, video and classroom setup, etc., and pastors from our partners at New Covenant (NC4) visited with us. We plan to move our things from Wellspring (including a refrigerator, cabinets and folding chairs which the new owners have graciously allowed us to take with us) to TG on Labor Day, Sept 7 (help welcome!) and our first service at TG with be on Shabbat, Sept 12, featuring the prophetic ministry of Tzofiya & Avi Rogers.

Then we start the new Jewish year in a new place on Sunday, 7pm, Sept 13, and Monday, 10:30am, Sept 14, with our Rosh HaShanah/Yom Teruah (Day of Blowing Shofars) services.

Also we will have a garage sale at TG on Sunday, August 30, to help the Gangeweres prepare to move out of their home on the property. See Denise Gabriele for details and/or if you'd like to help.

With all these transitions upon us, please keep Beit Simcha in prayer. Also please prayerfully consider making a special offering to help us cover the costs of improving accessibility at TG while gearing up for our building project. Give online or send checks to our Treasurer.
