Why is Beit Simcha Building?

The short answer is: the Spirit of the Lord is moving us!

Prophetic and pastoral voices within and outside the congregation have revealed and confirmed His purpose. He will reopen ancient wells that William Penn dug - or a commonwealth with religious freedom instead of a state church - and which Zinzendorf dug - for intentional community and a "Unitas Fratrum" or united brotherhood of believers. The One New Man could not happen at that time, because the Bible declares that it must be Jew and Gentile, united in Messiah. Now is the time!

We will build a Messianic Jewish synagogue exactly where a Jewish Federation study showed that Jewish population is growing. It will first be a Jewish space, "for I am not ashamed of the Good News, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who trusts - to the Jew first and also to the Greek" (Romans 1:16).

Gentiles will partner with us - in our Shabbat morning services, innovative Erev Shabbat (Friday night) services, Saturday evening coffeehouses featuring a wide range of music so that Beit Simcha will become a "happening place", and a One Voice church renting from us for Sunday morning services. Jews and Gentiles will partner together to reach Jews and Gentiles in the wider community.

The Community House, in which leadership quality members will dwell, will be a prayer engine, welcoming the community to join us for morning prayers, Shabbat evening prayers, fellowship meetings, the Rabbi's Bible Study, and deliverance and healing ministry.

Check out our web site, for more about our vision and updates about our progress - and support us with your donations and pledges. Check out our sermons for a series of messages from high level supporters confirming and strengthening our vision: Pastor Jack Groblewski, whose congregation is partnering with us, Daniah Greenberg, President of the Tree of Life Bible Project, our own Nancy Hahn with a historical and prophetic perspective, and Dr. Daniel Juster, Director of Tikkun America.

We'll keep you posted about our progress as well as details about our "Mutual Blessings" concert series. If you're excited about what God is doing, spread our good news to others!
