Purim Spiel at Beit Simcha!

We will be celebrating Purim at Beit Simcha on March 7 at 10am.

Our service will include our traditional Purim spiel - an original musical skit (wait until you hear what our nephews scripted this year!) retelling of the story of Esther. Purim is a time of celebration and joy, remembering how the Jewish people were saved from annihilation.

Children enjoy our carnival, kids of all ages wear costumes and eat hamentashen (triangular Purim cookies), we bring canned goods for the poor, and we all BOO!!! and make noise at the name of Haman and cheer Mordecai!

So we give thanks to the Lord for protecting His people, and in the ancient words of His people, we say "They tried to kill us; God saved us; let's eat!"
