A History of Tikkun: Ministries in the Land

I want to say, "Why am I there in Israel?" I am there because it is almost as if I got drafted. As the historic 'father' - head leader of the Tikkun work with Eitan and Asher - I was drafted into Israel to give support, training and to help their works in the land of Israel.

Our primary work in Israel is teaching courses in our schools, Haifa Theological Institute, the Ethiopian school for Ethiopian Jews, the Messianic Jewish Bible Institute, and to mentor young leaders. We are giving ourselves all of the time in mentoring young leaders.

In our own congregation we have eleven designated, recognized - that we recognize - as emerging leadership couples who have great marriages, love each other, 30 and under. We believe that they are going to be the leaders of the future.

So Tikkun is connected to these ministries: Ohalai Rachamim in the north, Revive in the south. And I am there to give support and training.
