Blessing and Orders of Authority

In chapter five, I talk about legitimate authority, submission and the nature of justice. Then, I move on to look at how this works for mutual blessing in God's order of authority for marriage.

The relationship between husband and wife is said to be a microcosmic reflection of the relationship between the Messiah and his congregation.

In addition, there is the authority and mutual blessing between parents and children.

The lever to which righteous and loving parents sacrifice for their children is enormous! ... However, the children respond to the parents with love and obedience which greatly blesses the parents.

Before the end of the chapter, I also consider civil government, the employer-employee relationship and congregations.

Next, "Gifts and Talents in Blessing", chapter 6.

You can purchase "Mutual Blessing" here.
