A Passover Discovery

My April magazine article has generated quite a number of comments; rather more than I had perhaps anticipated, so it appears to have touched a chord with a number of folks. I reminissed about Passovers in the past ...

As a new believer, I read the New Covenant account of Yeshua's "last supper" and was stunned by what should have already been obvious. This was a Passover Seder - the ceremonial meal mandated by God in Exodus 12, to be celebrated "through your generations". That one realization changed my life and brought me back to the Jewish heritage that had been lost in my assimilated upbringing.

As Jews, do we turn to or away from God when we come to faith in Yeshua? My personal experience - echoed by many others, I might add - is contrary to the received wisdom of the Jewish world. Not only have my family and I returned to our biblical legacy, but we are now Israeli citizens living in the Land fo Israel for over twenty years!
